Black History Month brings vibrant events to the rainy, chilly month of February. Designed for children and adults, they help us celebrate community in the Inland Empire. Here are a few of them:

February 10, 10am to 2pm, Riverside
44th Annual Riverside Black History Expo and Parade, featuring floats, bands, dancers, community members, schools and organizations. Begins at Riverside Community College and concludes downtown, outside the Riverside County Courthouse.
February 17, Saturday 12 pm, Pomona
AAMB Line Dancing Event. $25 donation suggested. Proceeds to support the African American Museum of Beginnings. 1460 E. Holt, Suite 188, Pomona CA
February 24, Saturday 10am, Fontana
Fontana Black History Parade and Expo Parade starts from Citrus and Summit then south on Citrus to the Home Depot Lot at Sierra Lake Parkway. (North of the 210 Freeway)
