Voter pre-registration is legal and as long as you were going to be l8 before the election.
I’m not shaming anybody here. But it’s something a lot of people are not aware of.
And yes. It was a Republican Policy. In California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (REPUBLICAN) signed AB 30 in 2009. A 16 or l7 year old can be pre-registered if they are going to be l8 before the election.
Believe it or not this actually hearkens back to President Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln believed that voting should be as easy as drinking a glass of water. He even developed a lot of policies that helped immigrants become citizens to allow them to vote as soon as possible.
This seems to be misinformation that aims to fool or enrage people.
